TRIBUTES FOR JOSEPH OLADAPO IDOWU
REST ON TILL WE MEET TO PART NO MORE

ADIEU

Dapo's death came as a shock. He's was very resourceful, amiable, reliable and essy going. I commiserate with his family, friends and associates.
Signed. Governor Ahmed

Sun set at noon, Joseph Oladapo Idowu's journey to the great beyond is a big loss to many of us. My uncle, my benefactor and helper; Dapo Idowu is not dead because he lives in our heart. Ever ready to share your pain and joy, always giving without waiting for recompense or appreciation. Humiltu Was called Saturday morning that he collapsed n I should come. I'm devastated and still not myself but his wife's is my major concern now. My Angel and God sent, may his beautiful soul rest on with Christ. - Christie Doyin

So unfortunate such a fine gentleman. He was a a pleasant man with good heart, may God be pleased with him.
- Hon Moshood Bakare

The loss of Mr. Dapo Idowu is a big one for all of us, particularly, those of us who worked with him. A gentle, very wise, kind and generous man he would sit down quietly and gently intervene in our sometimes heated debates. No doubt, a man with loads of experience in the banking sector. He supplied most of us with gums to either keep awake during long nights or to warm your mouth. I remember that I once saw a half-shoe on him and i said he should tell me where he got it. He took me to the store in Abuja and paid for the pair that i bought. He was one person who helped with my transportation needs when I newly came to Abuja and offered to help me move my car from Abeokuta to Abuja. He was always neatly and smartly dressed. Coincidentally, my first son is Oladapo and Mr. Idowu liked the young man when he met him. We are also both from Ogun State. Mr. Idowu actually had a plan to build a small country home in Sagamu, Ogun State and i was trying to link him with the state property company. Tight Homecoming Dresses 2020

Too shock for words. May his soul rest in peace Omo isaga olomu. Bestest uncle if there is a word like that. Love you but Jesus loves you most. Rest in peace - Segun Adekoya

Mr Dapo Idowu's life was the definition of the word selfless as he placed people and their need before himself or his, he was not just a father but also a mentor as he knew how and when to make or execute a decision, he was wise as his advice had no flaw. It was like he was a literal descendant of Solomon, he was smart and articulate, he was calm as a dove and loving as a true Christian, he was godly, he was the Jesus alot of people knew, he always gave ear to those who needed one and a hand of help was never far away, from the little time I spent around him I learnt alot and one thing I picked from him is"humility is priceless". An Uncle like no other. You would greatly be missed but forever remembered as your deeds and life style has forever been engraved in our hearts. Rest on sir. - Justice Innocent, Abuja
